Meghatározás
Az a vizi sport, amely a szörfozést és a vitorlázást kombinálja a windsurf (magyarosan: széllovaglás). Az eszköz maga egy 2-4 méter hosszú testből és a vitorlázatból (rigg) áll. A rigget a testtel a windsurf lelke az árbóctalp (gyökér) köti össze, ami nem más mint egy szabadon forgó kardántengely. Különböző célokra (tanulás, sebesség, szlalom, freestyle, stb.) más és más windszörf tipus alkalmas.
